Garry has had nearly 30 years of business experience spanning both the corporate world and startups. He has successfully grown five businesses across a variety of industries, is an active tech investor with significant board-level experience and has a passion for internet businesses and mentoring start-up founders.
He currently serves as a General Partner in the Sydney Seed Fund - an early stage investment fund investing in Australia's most passionate tech founders; co-founder and Chairman of RecruitLoop, an award-winning global platform to automate and outsource parts of the recruitment process on-demand; Chairman of Oneflare, Australia's fastest growing local services marketplace; co-founder and Director of The Fresh Venture Group, a multi award-winning corporate services company and past Chairman of DesignCrowd - the largest online marketplace for graphic design in the world.
Garry holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Computing from University of Technology, Sydney. He has been a judge and guest speaker in the AGSM Entrepreneurship class and is an active mentor at UNSW Student Entrepreneurs, H2 Ventures Fintech Accelerator, Sydney University's Incubate Accelerator Programme and a Global 100 Top rated mentor for the Founder Institute.
