Gage Mitchell is the President of AIGA Seattle, the local chapter of the oldest and largest professional association for design. When he's not leading the Seattle design community to greatness (think laser cat riding a unicorn with explosions and glitter), he's the Design Partner at Modern Species, a sustainable brand design studio in Downtown. And because he apparently doesn't like to have a life outside of design, he also serves as an Editorial Director for the Living Principles for Design, a sustainable design framework and resource website. He'll bring to us the perspective of a design studio leader, and someone who's been a newcomer to design communities in Denver, Charlotte, Madison, and most recently, our rockin' city, Seattle.
