Being half Australian and half Italian, Gabriella was raised and educated in Hong Kong, the place she calls home. She left to study English Literature and History at The University of Melbourne. After completing her degree, Gabriella returned to Hong Kong where she realized there was a demand for a new and innovative RTD beverage and she saw that this gap in the market had the potential to be filled by a local brand.
At the age of 23, Gabriella launched ZAVVA Shots with the goal of developing a homegrown Hong Kong product that represented the characteristics of the city from which it was inspired by, namely an alcoholic beverage that was small, compact, and bursting with energy. Keeping Hong Kong as the headquarters, Gabriella hopes to continue to expand ZAVVA into new markets. Gabriella is also co-founder of the HK-based fashion and lifestyle blog, 'The Duality' (www.theduality.com).
