Franco Santos was born in Lima, Peru and was introduced to Latin dancing while in college. Upon graduation he moved to the Washington DC area to further his graphic design career as well as his passion for dance. He has performed in DMV area for the past 2 years and has been a member of the Island Touch Dance Company. Since joining Island Touch Dance Company Franco has danced many principal roles with his dance partner, Tiffany Bassford. Franco has trained with many professional Latin Dance instructors including 3x World Champion Salsa Dancer Gabriela Equiz, Darlin Garcia and Cristian Oviedo. Franco’s desire is to encourage and promote all styles of dancing, especially latin styles, while using these dances to teach healthy lifestyles, confidence and respect.
