Dr Francis Lau has 14 years’ business and risk analytics experiences from retail, commercial, corporate and investment banking. He is subject matter expert in building firm-wide analytics framework, supporting business decision making with data science, enhancing corporate governance structure and streamlining regulatory reporting cycles. Francis has strong analytical background as he earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree via studying financial asset price dynamics with quantitative analysis. Dr Lau is also passionate in teaching and actively engaged in professional training. In the past 14 years, he supported universities and professional associations to develop and deliver postgraduate and executive training programs in data analytics.
