Evan Asano
Founder, Mediakix
Evan Asano founded Mediakix in 2011 to help brands connect with online influencers and reach their target audiences on YouTube, blogs, and emerging social channels. Mediakix specializes in building branded and sponsored content campaigns to drive brand awareness, brand engagement, sales and ROI. Mediakix’s clients include Birchbox, Blue Apron, Boxed, Castrol, HauteLook, Indiegogo, NatureBox, Oyster and others. Mediakix has grown to serve over 50 clients and with a network of over 1,000 influencers, bloggers, YouTubers and Instagrammers.
Previous to starting Mediakix, Evan was one of the first digital executives of BermanBraun and Head of Advertising Solutions. At BermanBraun, Evan created some of the first native advertising experiences on MSN partner sites Wonderwall and Glo for top brands including Bing, CBS, Covergirl, Microsoft, Paramount, Samsung, Toyota, Universal Pictures and others. Evan launched Wonderwall’s social media platform and presence.
Following BermanBraun, Evan worked for the first YouTube MCN, Revision3. Revision3 was the leader in the YouTube space for branded content. There Evan worked with top brands that included Ford, Netflix, Paramount, Sony Electronics, and Universal. Seeing an opportunity to grow this model, Evan started Mediakix to connect top brands with online influencers.
Evan is a graduate of Stanford University, avid surfer, photographer and traveler.
