    Esha Thaper

    Digital Marketer

    Melbourne

Esha started her rather eclectic career as a lawyer. She interned at the United Nations in the Hague, before moving on to work at Oracle Corporation and American Express. Realising that interpreting contracts wasn't anywhere near as exciting as the digital world, she changed her career and started working as content manager and creator at Tyro Payments.

From there, she became the marketing manager at start-up mobile payments company, Aston Club, and was able to apply practical wisdom from her General Assembly Digital Marketing course.

After this experience, she moved on to working freelance as a content writer/digital consultant, and decided to do another GA course in Front End Web Development to cement her space in the tech world.

Now she's working for two digital/creative agencies in Melbourne, and manages websites, writes content and devises digital strategies for a range of clients from health-food start-ups to Melbourne fashion labels.

In her spare time, Esha likes hosting dinner parties, discovering new wine bars, and likes thinking about technology, data, and how fast the world is changing.
