Erin McElvaney is a Director of Product in Consumer Experiences at PayPal. Erin is responsible for product vision and strategy for early lifecycle growth as well as deeper engagement of PayPal’s global consumer base on web and app platforms. She is also leading core app platform teams and coordinating a complete redesign of the mobile experience, launching in 2021. In her nearly 10 years of experience at PayPal, Erin has led in a variety of domains–in-store, platform, compliance and regulatory, integrations, credit, and more. Prior to Product, Erin spent 8 years as an engineer. Erin’s leadership style is honest and authentic. She believes in maximizing the positive experiences in daily life, including at work, and as a part of that is committed to growing a team of high-performing and motivated leaders, who also practice compassion and empathy for each other, the customer, the business, and other parts of the organization.
