Emma Morris is an award winning Producer / Director who has been at the ABC for four years. She has over a decade of experience in the media industry that spans radio, film, TV and digital media with a passion for stories that question the world around us. Last year she was at Foreign Correspondent where she launched interactive documentary, Freedom Riders about underprivileged young surfers in South Africa which was nominated for a UN Peace Award, and People Without Papers a series about undocumented child migrants now on ABC iview. Her latest project at the ABC explores stories about how extreme weather events impact our daily lives. She's a creative geek who hopes to push the boundaries of storytelling and people’s perceptions of the world. Fun fact: She survived falling off a three story cliff in Portugal when she was two.
