Emma Freeman
Data Science Immersive Instructor, General Assembly
Emma is an instructor for the Data Science Immersive program at General Assembly where she teaches Python programming, statistics, and machine learning. Emma holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and has ten years of experience conducting data analysis for environmental science and policy. She has worked in environmental consulting, as a water policy researcher at the Public Policy Institute of California, as a data analyst collecting historical datasets from the Exxon Valdez oil spill, and as a research and collections associate at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
