Emma is passionate about creating; learning new things and collaborating with others. Her experience spans across communications, events, arts, tech & creative industries. She's currently Audience Development and Local Marketing Producer at General Assembly, based in Melbourne.
Since kicking off her professional career in Melbourne 6 years ago, Emma has shifted from a more traditional landscape working in radio then magazine publishing, through to digital account and project management. She has been working in various boutique agencies in Melbourne since stepping into this space and knows how to bridge the gap and communicate with clients, designers, web developers and more. Emma has a myriad of agency-side skills under her belt and has successfully navigated her various digital producer roles to currently focus on marketing and communications.
In her current role, Emma has grown and engaged General Assembly's audience and community in Melbourne by using a range of tried and tested digital marketing tactics and strategies. These include creating, planning and executing high profile digital campaigns and high profile community building events.
