Emma is passionate about creating, learning new things and collaborating with others. Her experience spans across communications, events, arts, tech & creative industries. She's recently completed the part time User Experience Design course at General Assembly and is bringing design thinking and UX into her current marketing lead role.
Since kicking off her professional career in Melbourne 6 years ago, Emma has shifted from working in radio and magazine publishing, through to digital project management and marketing. Emma has a myriad of boutique agency-side skills under her belt and has successfully navigated her various roles to currently focus on marketing and communications with a hint of UX and data wrangling on the side.
In her current role, Emma has grown and engaged General Assembly's audience and community in Melbourne by using a range of marketing tactics and strategies. These include creating, planning and executing high profile digital campaigns and high profile community-building events.
