Elyse Ross
Elyse works as an Applied Data Scientist at Civis Analytics, a Data Science company committed to building easy to use software, and providing innovative consulting solutions. Elyse works on the non-profit and political teams, helping clients to streamline data workflows, build reporting mechanisms, and integrate predictive modeling. Immediately after college, Elyse joined Teach For America and taught third grade special education in the South Bronx, and then managed data for a high-performing charter school. Afterwards, Elyse served as the Data Director for Senator Kay Hagan's 2014 re-election campaign and on the Ohio Data Team for President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign. With a clear memory of completing her first vlookup, Elyse has a passion for teaching others how to access, manipulate, and analyze their data. Elyse has a BA in Political Science from Barnard College. Outside of work, Elyse enjoys trying new restaurants and indulging in bad reality TV.
