Elika became a health coach following frustration of years of yo yo dieting & lack of nutritional support available from personal trainers she had used. Her own health had deteriorated as a result of working long hours for nearly 10 years in the corporate HR consultancy industry and she was looking for her own answers to her health issues.
Having personally healed herself of Insomnia, sugar cravings, lack of energy, food intolerances, adrenal fatigue, chronic stress, PCOS and imbalanced hormones, these became some of the common areas she supported her clients with through ElikaFit. In addition after losing herself 3 kgs from reducing body fat, whilst increasing muscle mass she also supports their weight management goals.
As a Health Coach she works with individuals & companies and provides the truth about nutrition enabling healthier lifestyles through coaching, consulting & access to exciting healthy food.
Having worked nearly 4 years in the Raffles place area Elika was extremely frustrated with the lack of healthy food options that provided ‘real food’ that wasn't highly processed & with quality ingredients that had no hidden sugars & preservatives. When her clients started to voice similar concerns from her recommendations of what types of foods to eat, she saw a need for a CBD cafe.
As the owner of Kitchen by Food Rebel and a certified Raw Food Chef, the cafes mission is to improve their customers health through a recipe of awareness, education & great food. Elika provides education workshops & cooking classes onsite and works with a number of local start‐up and suppliers to source quality fresh ingredients that can be used in house to make fresh meals daily. At Kitchen the menu consists of a range of fresh food with in house made dressings, sandwiches with quality bread flown from Austria, hot fusion warm meals & a range of desserts that are gluten, dairy, refined sugar free. The cafe is inclusive so welcomes vegans, vegetarians, athletes, clean meat lovers & those with food intolerances. Whether the customer is a new to healthy eating lifestyles or an avid organic food purchaser the cafe caters to them through their level 1,2 & 3 concept, which is illustrated on the walls of the cafe . In the cafe you will find a strict ban on refined sugar, preservatives & chemicals used in cooking all the foods that are made from scratch using only traditional cooking techniques.
