Edward R. O'Neill, Ph.D. is an instructional designer, author, and consultant. He works at the intersection of learning, technology, and media. After teaching at USC Film School and UC Santa Cruz, among others, Edward worked as an instructional designer and technologist at Stanford, USC, and Yale, where he supported initiatives, projects, courses, and assignments. His current consulting clients include USC and the University of Maryland. Edward holds a B.A. from Yale and a Ph.D. from UCLA Film School. Edward was awarded a two-year Mellon postdoctoral fellowship, a UCLA fellowship in social thought, and a Boyer Grant to study at the Sorbonne and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales.
