Singapore
Geraldine is Head of Data at the Grab-Singtel digital bank consortium, driving the bank's data strategy and establishing best practices and foundations for leveraging data to transform the way customers engage and experience the digital economy.
In her previous role, she was Director of Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering at Singtel Consumer Group, where she led teams in leveraging machine learning for customer retention and engagement, whilst exploring innovative AI initiatives and data partnerships for the business. Prior to Singtel, Geraldine managed several strategic analytics projects across the public, transport and infocomm sectors during her time at Accenture consulting.
With over 12 years of experience in data analytics and machine learning, Geraldine enjoys interpreting patterns from data and sees herself as "part scientist, part artist who paints a story out of data". She holds a Ph.D in Statistics from the University of Adelaide, where her past research career focused on climate change and the prediction of global extreme climatic events.
