Anna Hushlak is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Ferly, the world's first digital sexual wellbeing studio. In the last year, Ferly was listed as one of the 'Top 10 Female-Led Companies Using Tech for Good', 'Europe's 2019 Coolest Femtech Companies' and Escape the City's 'Best Companies to Work at in 2019'. Prior to starting Ferly, Anna was 1 of 55 accepted to Zinc VC's Mission 1, which sought to use technology to improve the mental and emotional health of women and girls in the developing world. This is where she met her co-founder and powerhouse Billie Quinlan. Together, Anna and Billie were included in the 'Top 100 womxn in Femtech and Health Tech in 2019'. Having completed her PhD at the University of Oxford in 2018, Anna believes in making research and science more accessible. This, combined with her earlier advocacy work in Honduras, Canada, and South Africa has fuelled her obsession with using human-centred design and mindful tech to solve problems around gender/sexual inequality. Outside of being a sex scientist? Anna's a climber, typography geek, and a sub-par origamist.
