    Doug Williams is the VP of Product Development at RunKeeper, leading the technical and product team developing mobile apps and systems to turn your phone into a personal trainer in your pocket.

    As VP Product Development at RunKeeper, he's realizing his dream of developing software to help people stay fit and lead more active lives. Over the past few years, his teams have scaled to grow RunKeeper to over 36 million users - twice winning Time Top 50 Apps. Prior to RunKeeper, Doug led the technology and product teams at numerous successful startups including Zipcar and Family Education (now part of Pearson Education). Doug has his EECS degree from Princeton, his Masters from Harvard, and has four patents. He's passionate about fitness, having run the Boston Marathon this year for Dana-Farber, and cycled the 150-mile MS Ride from Boston to Providence.
