Derek Fons is a front-end developer working at Spredfast in Austin Texas. Originally from Michigan, he has worked as a developer for over 14 years spending time in Seattle, Chicago, and the Bay area. Derek was previously employed at Apple and Amazon and also spent a good chunk of time doing freelance work. Working primarily in Ruby, iOS and front-end web, Derek prides him self as a well rounded developer that strives to build clean and simple solutions. Other interests include CrossFit and watching movies.
