As a business consultant, I am passionate about helping growth companies (particularly other women entrepreneurs) build their dream companies. I work with companies on business planning and investor readiness, and provide introductions to potential investors and venture partners. I am very active in the women entrepreneur community, including: Member of Women in LAVA’s Steering Committee; Women in Technology Network; National Association of Professional Women; and 85 Broads (a global women’s networking group). I recently joined Plum Alley, the crowdfunding platform based in New York for women entrepreneurs.

I am also a first time startup entrepreneur, and founded Stiletto Dash in 2013 inspired by my experience as a former corporate climber and road warrior. I am building a unique travel wellness company that provides online and mobile solutions for women business travelers to help ease the pains of business travel.

My background is as a capital markets expert with 10 years in business development at the Toronto Stock Exchange, including as the Director, Business Development & Strategy. I have advised many companies on the going public process and can provide an understanding of private and public financing options in Canada and the United States, particularly for small cap companies.

In my volunteer work, I am passionate about empowering women and girls globally through volunteer efforts with organizations such as Girls Inc. of Greater Los Angeles. My Previous involvements include with Social Venture Exchange, Access Community Capital Fund, and Toronto International Microfinance Summit.
