Deepna Devkar is the Senior Director of Data Sciences for Dotdash - one of the fastest-growing publishers online. Deepna was a Neuroscientist for 10 years, studying the psychological and neural underpinnings of human behavior. Her scientific quest has included questions like "How does the brain process our rich, visual world?" to "What limits us from remembering an infinite amount of information that we encounter in our lifetime?"
In 2015, she joined Viacom Media Networks as the first Data Scientist in the group. At Dotdash, Deepna manages a team of Ph.D. Data Scientists who share her passion of deriving insights from data. She finds that human behavior is just as fascinating to study in the real world as it was in a laboratory.
