Debra has been working at the intersections of technology and democracy for 2004, first as the managing director of Swing the State, then as the co-founder of Long Distance Voter and currently as Founder and CEO of VOTE.org. Under Debra's leadership, VOTE.org won the prestigious Knight News Challenge in 2015, and was accepted into Y Combinators 2016 Summer Cohort. When she's not saving democracy, Debra can be found challenging the patriarchy or watching bad TV on Netflix.
