David is a sports innovation and technology strategist with a diverse background. His sports journey began when selling cognitive software technology to global motorsport teams. After numerous consulting engagements, he saw the need for a global organization to help influence technology in sport. Along with his partners, they formed The International Sports Technology Association (ISTA). ISTA collaborates with global sporting organizations through its special interest groups such as, The Society of Sports Knowledge Engineering (SSKE), The Professional Sports Technology Institute (PSTI), Council for Sports Technology Education (CSTE), and Executive Advisory Board. He is a startup Mentor at the newly created Qatar Sports Tech Accelerator in Doha and has been recognized by several global trade groups as a thought leader regarding athlete, brand, and fan technologies effecting sport.
