David was hired first as a Flash Developer, but quickly grew to know more than just Flash. His first job saw him take in Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS3, MySQL & NoSQL databases and use them all to create functioning web applications. The culmination of his work at his first role saw David programming an entire Digital Asset Management system.
Since then, David has worked for some big ticket players. He built a Netflix style streaming service for Regency Media, before working at Oxygen Marketing designing and developing competition websites for companies such as Cadbury, Coopers and Mondelez, and building Zambrero's customer website.
After finding his real passion as a Python programmer, David started to tinker on many personal projects. Twitter Analytics Aggregation, Mobile App Development and REST API creation were all parts of his 'extracurricular' work. One of David's most developed ideas which he built in his spare time was an iPad application which would allow users to track statistics for sport. David has a passion for genetic algorithm programming - and really enjoys educating himself in this area which is becoming more and more of a sought after skill in the programming world.
This year, David and his wife have started the undertaking of developing their own app & business - a way for people that are required to follow the FODMAP diet to easily keep track of their eating and keep on top of their disorder. This will see the development of mobile apps for Android & iOS, a full desktop website & a functioning back end administration system.
