Darren is a self proclaimed part-time astronaut, and managing partner and co-founder at Doejo, and co-founder, investor and adviser to Bow Truss Coffee Roasters, Aquanaut Beer Co. and SPACE.
Shortly after arriving in Chicago in 2004 to pursue a degree in Visual Communications, Darren fell in love with the opportunity to help businesses truly leverage design and technology. After taking an internship with local legends, Coudal Partners, Darren took a job with a boutique agency startup, where he architected, designed an produced centralized content management systems which powered sites, apps and ads for Focus Films, Warners Brothers Music and Harper Collins.
In 2009 he stepped away to build Doejo, a top 10 WordPress VIP shop in the world. Darren and Doejo been featured on CNBC, PBS's Startup USA, and provides dedicated teams in innovation, publishing and product development to companies like Wilson Labs, Uptake, Groupon Tribune Media, and Investors Business Daily.
