Dante Orpilla is a well-known visual artist and product design specialist who draws from his background in media arts and motion graphics to create beautifully designed UI for clients and apps for users. Dante has designed for reddit, Yahoo!, Cisco and more. His original illustrations and portraits, proliferated across the web via reddit, Instagram, Pinterest, DeviantArts and more, have been featured on a range of media destinations, including Blanc Magazine, the Daily Dot, and a variety of others. His unique blend of watercolor and what he frequently refers to as "ScrabbleScribble" continues to gain traction in traditional art/gallery circles around the globe.
In 2013, together with entertainment industry executive (and longtime friend) Thomas Scriven, Dante created the mobile app DIALS (and the company DayDials, Inc. d/b/a DIALS). DIALS has rethought the mobile calendar and transformed the old, hard-to-read "list view" of your day’s schedule into an elegantly designed new clock-based view of your day. Orpilla, who still does design for reddit, was also the first "interesting person" featured in reddit’s inaugural podcast series, "Upvoted," which launched in January 2015.
