Danny Ecker is the pulse of the Chicago sports business scene at Crain's Chicago Business, covering the marketing, media, products and personalities tied to the city's professional and college teams, as well as local companies involved in the sports industry. He is a frequent panelist on Comcast SportsNet Chicago's daily "Sports Talk Live" talk show as well as the weekly "Business of Sports report" on 670 The Score. Prior to joining Crain's in January 2010, Danny worked as a producer for UWire.com, a college sports and news website. He is a 2008 graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and a native of Columbus, Ohio.
