Daniel Smith
Developer in Residence, General Assembly
Seattle
Daniel is a full-stack web developer with special interests in front-end technology and design. He began teaching himself HTML and CSS when he was 12 years old, and has remained fascinated with coding ever since. One of Daniel’s favorite aspects of web development is that it requires both technical precision and creative intuition. Prior to completing GA’s Web Development Immersive, he received a bachelor’s degree in music from Western Washington University. During his undergraduate studies, he trained as a vocalist, performed for audiences of well over a thousand people, held musical leadership roles, and began training as a voice instructor. With curiosity as his driving force, Daniel constantly explores new technologies, design trends, musical styles, psychological theories, and anything that can meaningfully impact his life and the lives of others.
