Dan previously worked as an editor at Popular Photography and American Photo magazines before moving from his home in New York City to Seattle, in the Fall of 2014. A self-described "film camera whisperer," Dan recently relaunched his Instagram presence under the name @Popular_American, where he shares analog photos from an on-going project he started back in 2011. The project, titled Popular American Club (PopularAmerican.club), seeks to define, document and visually represent the desires and needs for today's millennials to find their 'place' in America -- physically, emotionally and mentally.
