Cyan Ta’eed is an Australian entrepreneur whose businesses include digital marketplace success story Envato, cult chocolate brand Hey Tiger and newly-launched app Milkshake.

With a background in graphic design, Cyan co-founded Envato in 2006 in her parent’s garage. The creative eco-system has since grown to the world’s largest marketplace for creative assets and creative people, delivering over US$700 millions in earnings to its creative community. The company is widely considered one of Australia’s most successful scale-ups with over 10 million members globally.

In 2017, Cyan founded Hey Tiger, a speciality chocolate company based in Melbourne. Each chocolate bar is handmade from quality and ethically sourced ingredients combining surprising and delicious flavours. A passionate social enterprise, Hey Tiger benefits cocoa farming communities in West Africa, where 60% of the world’s cocoa is grown.

Most recently, Cyan co-founded Milkshake, an app for Instagrammers to make a stylish and sophisticated website from their mobile. Inspired by the rise of entrepreneurs and creatives using Instagram for business, Milkshake helps users to create and grow a business, making the most of a single Instagram bio link.

Cyan is also the founder of New Day Box, an initiative that mobilises the community to make boxes of skincare and cosmetics for women in domestic violence crisis accommodation. To date, New Day Box has distributed over 10,000 boxes to women.

Cyan is passionate about supporting early stage, female-led businesses and ideas with a social impact. Her speaking topics include: purpose-led business, the entrepreneur's journey, delivering social impact, women in business and leadership with purpose.
