Dr Christopher Poole has a PhD in physics, and has spent the last decade or so writing software and analysing data in hospitals and universities around Australia. He is an expert in writing software and developing algorithms for simulating radiation, like x-rays, and determining the effects radiation exposure has on people.

These days, Chris runs his own business writing software for scientific and medical research applications. He is also commercialising software products used by professionals that need to work safely around radiation.

Python has been a mainstay of his work throughout his career. He is a long time Python user and has experience in using it in a variety of scenarios, including data analysis, control systems, visualisation, and automation.
