Chris Rackliffe is the Director of Social Media Engagement Strategy at Aetna. Prior to Aetna, Chris spent eight years in the media and marketing space helping brands found and refine their social strategies from the ground up. Perhaps Chris’ most notable experience was at Time Inc., where he was head of social media for Entertainment Weekly (EW) and PEOPLE magazine. At EW and PEOPLE, Chris led a team of 10 in distributing nearly 250 pieces of content a day across eight platforms. Chris also helped launch a daily Snapchat Discover edition for PEOPLE and a weekly one for EW, as well as set a company-wide record for 100+MM site visits from social in one month. Chris has driven over six billion social media interactions and over one billion social media referrals throughout his career.
