    Chitra Venkatesh leads the Education and Outreach Unit of WWF-Singapore. She converts WWF vision into science-based outreach programmes for a better world. Her expertise lies in Science communication and Strategic collaborations with stakeholders like NEA, Science Centre, ArtsScience Museum, PassionWave, NLB and NParks. Impact measurement and Behaviour Science strengthening the programmes further.

    She is a member of Climate Action Singapore Alliance (CASA) that builds on the narrative of climate change to translate public awareness into action, The Country Manager for Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a Global Leader for the WWF Education Network. Her work focuses on People and Programmes that advocate for a culture of environmental sustainability and people development. She typically collaborates with organisations like UNEP, UNESCO and WOSM at the global level. Most recently, she has worked with WOSM to restructure their Global Youth Programme and Better World Framework to align with Scouts for SDGs initiative, supported the development, global launch and adoption of Earth Tribe initiative, and has been instrumental in the relaunch of the 45 year old Panda Badge with new youth challenges that now engages more than 50 million scouts world wide.
