Charles Arthur is a freelance journalist, speaker and moderator, who was the Guardian’s Technology Editor from 2005 - 2014, and the science and technology journalist and then science and technology editor at The Independent from 1995 to 2004. Previously he worked at New Scientist and Business magazine. His previous book published in 2012 was Digital Wars: Apple, Google, Microsoft and the battle for the internet, also published by Kogan Page.
