Cassie is a people first CEO that has built an apartment locating company from the ground up. She believes that work should be fun and she thrives on connecting people with a space to truly be themselves, both in a career and in a client's search for a new home. She's notorious for saying 'you don't need to wear a suit and tie to be successful!'

Cassie started Smart City in 2013. In the beginning, she worked every position in the company, and as it grew she put efforts into building people to help build the business. They now employ over 200 people in 5 markets (6 next month), and are continuing to grow rapidly. Cassie now focuses on leading the company in the right direction as they level up their standard of service and implement new technologies for the future of apartment locating.

Prior to Smart City, Cassie worked as an administrative assistant while she bootstrapped her business. She has a talent for lead generation, social media, and brand building, which has been a large contributing factor to the company's overall success.

She is married to her beautiful wife (and muse) Kayla, mom to her 7 month old son named Olsen, and together they live in Dallas. She also is an avid snowboarder and loves the Colorado mountains. In the winter, you can find her taking conference calls from the ski lifts!
