New York City
Carol believes activists need the support of those who share their visions of a better world. At the Rockefeller Foundation, Carol backed brilliant visionaries as she designed and funded programs that build resilience, help decision-makers use evidence to serve people and create labor pathways for refugees. Before that, she established the Harvard Belfer Center’s initiative on managing the Syrian refugee situation; together with aid practitioners and think tank partners, her team successfully got host governments to plan longer-term. At the Boston Consulting Group, she advised Asian governments on supporting local entrepreneurs. Currently as Senior Project Manager (Strategy) at NYCEDC, her team delivers objective, data-driven solutions to other EDC and City teams to drive inclusive growth. Carol has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the US and holds a MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
