Carm McDonald is a product designer with 15 years of experience in design and information architecture. Formally trained in Architecture, she made a career switch to Web + Graphic Design after a six-year stint as a high school math teacher. As web technology evolved, and design became an integral part of innovation and problem solving, she later found herself immersed in user experience and now product design. Carm is currently the Lead Product Designer at CDW.

An active member and volunteer within the design community, Carm is co-founder of DTech, a professional community for minority women in non-coding technical roles, and serves as a board member for User Experience Professionals Association International (UXPA) as Director of Education.
