Candace Bazemore is a Web, Social Media and Marketing Consultant for businesses, organizations and women. She is Senior Manager of Web and Digital Marketing at Birch Communications, where she oversees the definition of their digital marketing strategy.
Candace serves on the Marketing Council for the Junior League of Atlanta and is on the Atlanta Film Festival’s Board of Directors. She has served as President of the Atlanta Micro Fund and as an Ambassador for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
As the Founding Chair of the Junior League of Atlanta’s Leadership Institute, Candace was honored in 2013 as the leader of the Committee of the Year. In 2004, she was named an American Business Women's Association Chapter Woman of the Year.
In 2007, Candace launched J. Lane Media Company, an Atlanta-based design and marketing firm. In 2009, Candace founded Sister Girl News, a digital magazine and radio show with a large international following and she has thousands of articles, posts and interviews to her credit.
Candace fell in love with technology at very young age, writing her first line of code at 8 years old. Candace is a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Kennesaw State University’s KIP Program. A Newport News, Virginia native, she has made Atlanta her home for over 15 years.
