Bruce McEvoy is an award-winning designer who passionately believes in the transformational power of design. Bruce believes our ideas and spaces should negotiate nature, culture, governance, infrastructure, commerce and fashion while utilizing technology, our dreams and a healthy sense of humor.
Bruce consistently and successfully collaborates with some of the firm’s most significant clients. He works at a variety of scales on different project types to combine design excellence with high performance environments. Bruce is a tech native that models his ideas for visualization and tests those models for accuracy, efficiency and environmental performance which provides his clients with a higher level of understanding for feedback during the collaborative design process. He is a member of Perkins+Will’s Design Leadership Forum and is responsible for conducting design reviews in Atlanta and pushing the design boundaries for our firm.
In addition, Bruce is a member of AIA, a LEED AP BD+C, served as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) and currently serves as Board Chair for the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), Atlanta’s only design-focused museum. Bruce received a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and frequently serves as a regular design critic at local universities.
