Brooks is a Platform Engineer at GitHub where he works on the API, webhooks and integrations that power the applications built on top of their platform. He has taught a few iterations of Back End Web Development at General Assembly - a course that covers the ins and outs of Ruby and Rails. In his spare time, he can often be found hanging out with his two cats Luna and Otto in Brooklyn, New York.
