I believe that the value of design extends beyond the experience of the end user, it's a necessary solution in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.

My time in the arts taught me to think on my feet and apply critical thinking to abstract concepts. It's also where I clocked 10,000 hours designing custom products and delivering them to customers. I learned that "because I said so" is not sound resoning for any decision - good design is supported by research and ideation.

My work as a photographer ingrained me with good documentarian habits, and the technical rigor of the medium continues to inform my creative practice. Across genres, I bring a focused attention to craft, a little bit of improv, and a lot of empathy.
