    Brian Muller

    Co-Founder, OpBandit

    Washington, D.C.

Brian started working for internet startups before graduating from college. After obtaining a degree in computer science, he went on to work as a technology consultant for a variety of groups including PBS, the Carnegie Foundation, and the State of South Carolina. He then went back to school to get a MS in the Biomedical Sciences, where he focused on squeezing meaningful information out of vast quantities of (genomic) data. These skills were then applied to massive patient datasets at Johns Hopkins after Brian moved to Baltimore. He then went on to the Washington Post where he worked as the Web Director for Foreign Policy Magazine. After a renewed hankering for the startup world, Brian moved on to found the Data Science group at LivingSocial. He oversaw the creation and growth of a big data infrastructure and the teams necessary to support it - all while the customer base grew from thousands to over 70 million users. Since leaving LivingSocial in 2012, he has been the Co-Founder and CTO of OpBandit, a company that helps publishers and marketers increase their online engagement with responsive content delivery.
