Brennan is determined to modernise legal practice.

Armed with a computing pedigree, along with a dual degree in a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws, Brennan has been able to use his understanding of modern day technologies and legal process to empower the current and next generation of lawyers with the tools to better serve their clients, and to allow the profession to better meet its goal of providing access to justice.

Brennan was the recipient of the 2012 Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria's Innovation Award for helping the Supreme Court of Victoria go 'paperless' with his work in the development of the Court's online case management system, RedCrest. In 2013, Brennan's book on Dispute Avoidance became a short-listed finalist for the prestigious LexisNexis Centenary Book Award. He was also awarded a PhD scholarship at Monash University Law School to explore the 'Future of Legal Practice in the Digital Age'.
