Bob Familiar is the Director of Technical Evangelism for Microsoft DPE East Region covering New York, New Jersey and New England. Bob and his team work with students, startups and developers to help them learn and adopt the Microsoft platform to design, build and publish apps and games for Windows, Windows Phone and Azure. Bob has been working in the software industry for 29 years, the past 18 for Microsoft. He holds a Masters in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a patent in object relationship database technology.
