Blaize Berry joined the Walmart Austin, TX team from an AI communications company called Entefy in Palo Alto, where he worked as a machine learning engineer with a focus on applications of NLP to semantic search and conversational interfaces to smart devices and services. Blaize has a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Physics from the University of Miami (FL) and a Master’s degree in Computational Science from UC San Diego. His current focus within Walmart is leading the development of a big data text analytics platform called Hubble. When he’s not writing code or reading papers, Blaize enjoys playing golf, cooking, writing music, and landscape photography.
