Beth Mattern

Senior Director of Product Management, Cardlytics

Atlanta

Beth Mattern is a proven leader of software development projects and is passionate about applying technology to solve business challenges. She brings more than 15 years of experience in leading teams in the design, development, implementation and deployment of large-scale, mission critical business systems.

Beth is currently the Senior Director of Product Management at Cardlytics, the pioneer and leader in the field of transaction-driven marketing. Cardlytics’ mission is to make all marketing better and Beth and her team are working to make that happen by maintaining the product roadmap and partnering with engineering to define and build the company’s advertising products and platforms.

Prior to joining Cardlytics, Beth was the Vice President of Product Development for Sales Solutions, a department within Turner Broadcasting’s Audience and Multi-Platform Technologies (AMPT) group. She led a 32-person team of software developers and user experience designers in overseeing the strategic direction, design and development of 20 software applications used globally by Turner’s Ad Sales, Strategic Planning, Finance, Research and Network Operations divisions.

While at Turner, Beth led the development of their industry-leading traffic system, Crossroad. After a highly successful implementation, the product was licensed to Invision, a provider of ad sales systems to the media industry, and is now for sale to other broadcasters around the world. This introduced new market opportunities for Turner and further reinforced the company’s position as a leader and innovator in broadcast technologies.

Beth began her career as a Business Analyst at Marsh USA, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor. She ultimately managed the sales and implementation activity in the Southeast Region for STARS, their enterprise risk management software tool. From there she joined SilverPOP, an email and marketing automation company, as a Product Manager.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Wake Forest University. Beth is a member of Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Women in Technology (WIT). She is a graduate of the WIT Executive Readiness program and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Beth lives in East Atlanta with her husband and dog. She loves to travel and enjoys scuba diving and photography.
