Beth Laing
Director, Women Who Code, Atlanta
Beth grew up in online journalism, working with newspaper companies in Atlanta, San Jose, and Saint Paul, MN with a detour to work for an internet start-up, Infonautics, in Philadelphia, PA. After leaving the world of newspapers, Beth worked as a project manager for several organizations focused on the intersection of news, society & technology. In 2015, she transitioned into software development through a full immersion bootcamp and became involved in the Atlanta tech community. As a director for Women Who Code's Atlanta chapter and an organizer of the REFACT.TECH tech conference, she is passionate about making technology a welcoming community for everyone and breaking down barriers. Beth works as a software developer at CNN/Turner for 3.5 years and then moved on to become an Engineering Manager at CallRail, a marketing attribution company.
