Benny started his first HR startup at age 20 under the support of HKUST. He then started his finance/insurance career at age 23 and achieved Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) within 1 year and became top 1% in the industry. He spent 5 years mastering his sales skills and financial knowledge and at age 28 became an Executive Director of a HK Listed Company responsible for M&A. At age 30, Benny went to Singapore and joined a big data startup specialized in the real estate industry as a General Manager, responsible for expanding overseas and founded the Hong Kong Real Estate Exchange (HRX) which was later acquired by a listed company.

At age 33, Benny joined a Hong Kong based startup, Spacious, as Head of Operation to overlook operation in Hong Kong as well as expand the business to Shanghai and Taiwan. In less than 90 days, he lead the team and tripled the revenue.
