Benjamin Southworth
Founder, The Ada Lovelace Academy
Benjamin is the founder of The Ada Lovelace Academy. The idea was born out of his experiences as Deputy CEO of Tech City UK, where he worked to connect the needs of entrepreneurs to policy makers with Number 10 Downing Street. One of his realisations was that there weren't enough schools teaching digital and creative entrepreneurship, and this was creating a bottleneck, or at best a delay in the UK creating world class entrepreneurs. Starting with a blank sheet of paper and investigating what he saw to be best practises from Wellington College and Exeter College, and professional training courses for adults such as General Assembly, Decoded and the career paths of great entrepreneurs, he decided to create The Ada Lovelace Academy.
He is also the co-founder of 3 beards, and sits on several advisory boards.
