Ashley Welch is a travel consultant for Lola, a new startup aiming to integrate travel agents with a smartphone app that is being developed here in Boston. Ashley works with a team of consultants to develop and perfect the next big thing in travel planning.
Prior to Lola, Ashley graduated with a degree in Communications from Roger Williams University. She began her career working for the Commonwealth as a social worker, but left this to pursue her passion for travel and tourism. She began as an independent contractor planning travel via an internet travel agency, then moved on to Lola during in December of 2015. Her travel planning experience is rooted in social media, email and text based communications.
