Ashley Mei is Chinese and Japanese born in Beverly Hills. She grew up in both LA's Fairfax District and the San Fernando Valley.
Her first onscreen role was playing a youth assassin for Bennett Jones' festival darling, "I am a Knife with Legs". Recently, she was cast as sorority girl, Ashleye, on Mindy Kaling's "The Sex Lives of College Girls" - an HBOMax Original TV show.
Growing up Ashley studied musical theater, improv comedy, action fighting and speaks 3 languages (English, Mandarin & Japanese). Her favorite onstage role was Grace in a Los Angeles production of Annie the Musical. Currently, she is studying the Meisner Technique at Playhouse West in LA.
